Beginner Defensive Handgun
Level 0 - Foundations Training | Saturday, August 24th - 9am - 5pm eastern
Prerequisite: Proper attitude, safety-mindedness, and willingness to participate and learn new skills.
Beginner Defensive Handgun is for the concerned, self-defense-oriented man or woman looking to add this skill set to his or her protection "tool-box. This course gives you the essential skills required to lay a solid foundation for using a handgun in a real-world, personal or home invasion-based self-defense situation - an attack where you and your loved ones will be counting on your abilities the most. You will learn how to handle, clear, and load a handgun, as well as learn the basics of shooting and hitting a target within the average distance we know that most situations occur - 7 yards or 21 feet!
**NOTE: Due to the inability to effectively stream from our outdoor range, virtual attendees will receive the afternoon session as a pre-recorded video.
This course is perfect for the person new to defensive handgun, one who has just purchased a firearm for self-protection, as well as the seasoned shooter just entering into the realm of real-world self-defense training with a firearm.

Defensive Handgun 1 Course

Defensive Handgun I is the first in a series of three Tactical Handgun courses - each addressing essential skills required to effectively use a handgun in a real-world, personal or home invasion-based self-defense situation - an attack where you and your loved ones will be counting on your abilities the most. You must have at least a fundamental skill level with regards to being able to handle, clear, load a handgun, as well as the ability to shoot and hit a target - the skills taught in WCI's Basic Defensive Handgun Course - to be able to take this course.
Prerequisite: Ability to perform basic safety, maintenance, operational, and shooting skills as taught in the Beginner's Defensive Handgun Course, 1-on-1 instruction, or similar training. You must be able to load, unload, and clear your own weapon without assistance to be able to take this course!
